An interesting article by journalist Graham Spiers about the great Edinburgh rivalry. The piece focusing on the sociological aspects surrounding Hibs and Hearts rivalry perhaps contains many half-truths, untruths and a good dash of social stereotyping. It’s nevertheless a worthy attempt in investigating what makes ‘us’ different to ‘them’. I enjoyed the article in spite of it’s obvious flaws.
